Thou shouldest reject the "inclusive language"
If thou be a human living in one of the western countries, thou hast definitely heard of so called "inclusive language". Basically they say that thou art not allowed to use gendered pronouns like he or she without asking that person what he indentifieth as, many X'es (Elon Musk would like it) and all that nonsense.
They are even pushing this on thee. Thou hast definitely seen most Git hosting sites renaming their default branch from 'master' to 'main'. And now there is this:
Having thine IDE censor thee... it's just outrageous. And we've not even touched the Klimaschützer*innen thing (yes, in politically correct German this asterisk is supposed to be pronounced)...
Titles like this help promote diversity, equality and inclusivity blah blah blah no they don't.
And all the censorship. I bet there is a platform where thou canst get banned for saying "pal" or "bud".
Thou knowest what? I don't care. And neither shouldest thou.
Any sane person should not care what "pronouns" he is referred to. As long as it's not a frickin swearword :) or "it" (seriously, I don't get why some of the more crazy leftists want themselves to be called this way; it's dehumanizing).
So, what to do about all that as a sane, normal person?
I'd say, ditch their language. As Louis Rossmann liketh to say, don't accept the premises of assholes, nor their language.
Don't use singular 'thou'. Use 'he' or 'she', or even use them interchangeably specifically to piss them off. :>
Name the master branch of thy git repos as 'master' instead of main. I do that all the time.
And, on the margin, why do they hate the word "master"? Are they just too crazy to realize that the word "master" not only meaneth "slave master", but rather it primarily meaneth a teacher who overseeth a body of disciples.
Those crazy leftoids are a bunch of hypocrites. On one hand they ban everyone who supporteth them not hard enough, or even for not using their crazy politically correct speech, and on the other side they themselves send death threats to anyone they like not.
I probably should've been worried about codeberg banning me for writing this. But I don't. Yes, they are a bunch of communists, but the problem is that pretty much everyone is. All git hosting providers I know are commies. There is nowhere to go, so I just don't care. If they ban me and there be nowhere to go, I will just keep Dim private, since nobody playeth it anyway.
